Benefits of coming in at the start

All our systems are designed around a solid infrastructure that not only allows your current system to operate effectively, but helps to futureproof the home too. By coming in at the beginning, we design the system and the prints and so have precise information on the project. We know the exact location of all your speakers, WiFi access points and security cameras and contacts and exactly how many cables were pulled and to where.

Having this detailed information makes upgrading and extending your system in the future a breeze. For example, you may not be sure about having speakers in the bathroom perhaps, so we pull cables during construction just in case. Later, if you decide you would like to be listening to music when you’re in the tub, the infrastructure is already in place and we know precisely where to cut the speakers in.

Perhaps you would now like your WiFi to extend to your outside entertainment area, or to add an additional security camera – by knowing exactly how your network is set up we can extend your system with minimal disruption to your home. And if you want to swap out or upgrade equipment, often times we can advise you without even having to come to site.

Pelham perfection

We came in at the start on this Pelham project for the pre-wire of an audio and video system, wireless access points for seamless WiFi, a DSC security system throughout the home – interior and exterior – and LUMA surveillance cameras covering the exterior of home.

Every job presents its own challenge, in this instance it was getting cable to every single window for hardwired contacts for the security system, and in particular the sun room which had challenging windows as they are technically outside of the framing. Thankfully, we like a challenge so the windows were soon secured!

Our clients now have a secure home with great WiFi coverage throughout and a solid network which allows the cameras, security, and audio to work as they should. They are really happy with having music in their main areas and particularly out on the deck, where entertaining is now that much better.
