Sometimes, despite the best laid plans, dreams can turn into nightmares. This happened to one of our clients who, despite hiring a professional WiFi installation company, was left with a WiFi network that didn’t support even basic day-to-day functionality – their video calls were dropping and surfing the web was also difficult at times. They had tried a few other companies to fix the issue, but with no success… then they came to Live Free AV!

Reliable WiFi

We surveyed the network, and what struck us immediately was that their equipment rack was a total mess. This is always a great indicator of how much care a company has taken over your network installation. Your rack is the hub of your network, all cables lead to here – so, before we did anything else, we set to work on straightening that out and rewiring, clearly labelling all wires and cables and adding power surge protectors that can be power cycled remotely – reducing the need for a client to call us back onto site when troubleshooting any issues going forward.

Then came the full systems check leading to a network upgrade, ensuring a robust, stable WiFi signal throughout the property and an end to slow loading web pages and frozen video calls. And, whilst we were there we recalibrated their home theater too. We were delighted when our client described the transformation as ‘magic’!
